Bangladesh Reveals Its T20 World Cup Jersey

Preparations are in the works for the 8th edition of the T20 World Cup starting on October 16. During this time, the participating countries have revealed not only announced their teams but also their jerseys for the tournament. Among the different shirts revealed, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) unveiled their World Cup jersey with plenty of tradition and national pride featured in its design.

The jersey is published on BCB’s official Facebook page and featured in a video. It is a bright green and red piece that highlights three things in its design. These are the traditional Jamdani of Bengal, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Sundarbans. Upon its reveal, many netizens voiced their praise of the jersey. Out of the different players that will be participating in the games, Shakib Al Hasan, captain of the team, will wear this jersey in the 22 yards.

For this year’s world cup, there has been a reorganization of the team due to their failure in the Asia Cup. Prior to the World Cup in Australia, the Bangladesh team left the country to play the tri-nation series. On October 7, 9, 12, and 13, you can see Bangladesh battle it out with Pakistan and New Zealand. Then on October 24, you can see them play in the World Cup.
