Man Utd Signs Rashford to a Five-Year Deal
Marcus Rashford, the skilled striker for Manchester United, has signed a new contract with the club. This contract will make sure he stays with the team until 2028 and he will be earning a significant amount of money each week, £325,000. It took a long time to reach this agreement as his old contract was going to end in 2024.

Last season, with the guidance of their new manager, Erik ten Hag, Rashford experienced an incredible resurgence, scoring an impressive 30 goals in 56 matches. Since making his debut against Midtjylland in 2016, the 25-year-old has amassed a total of 123 goals in 359 games for his beloved club.

After his penalty miss in the Euro 2020 final against Italy, he, along with two other England players, experienced racial abuse. Additionally, in August 2021, he had shoulder surgery, which affected his performance and led to a modest goal count of five during the season. As a consequence, Gareth Southgate excluded him from the England squad for four Nations League matches in June 2022.
Nevertheless, Rashford’s fortune changed for the better last season, especially after the World Cup. He managed to net an impressive 10 goals in as many Premier League games after the tournament’s restart. His contribution played a crucial part in Manchester United securing a spot in the Champions League, and he even scored in the Carabao Cup final, helping the team secure a victory against Newcastle United.
