Shadab Khan Leads Pakistan to Victory

Pakistan defeated South Africa by 33-runs against South Africa after a tough start to the tournament. For the first seven overs the game, the team struggled with a 43/4 score however, Iftikhar Ahmed turned the game around by scoring a half-century. 

Combined with Shadab Khan, the duo built a combined score of 103 runs for Pakistan. Pakistan finished their innings with 185/9.

South Africa started slowly and at the end of the ninth over, the game had to pause due to rain. DLS method came into play with South Africa needing 73 runs from five overs to win. Unfortunately, Pakistan bowlers rose to the occasion and limited South Africa to a final score of 108/9. 

South Africa need to win their last game to secure a semi-final spot while Pakistan needs to win and hope either South Africa or India loses theirs. All eyes are on the final group fixtures this Sunday.
