With the T20 World Cup now over, the question now is what comes next? There are several tournaments and games fans can look forward to. Starting on November 17 is the first half of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier. It is a T20 cricket tournament that’s part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup
The tournament starting tomorrow consists of two sub-regional qualifiers and both will feature eight teams. For Qualifier A, there will be 28 matches running from November 17-25. Qualifier B also consists of 28 matches and will start on December 1 and end on December 9. Both qualifiers will take place in Rwanda and the top two teams from each event will progress to the Regional Final.
Currently, Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Namibia are confirmed for the Regional Final. The top two teams in the Regional Final will represent Africa at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will take place in the United States and West Indies.
