After 44 matches, we now have our finalist for the 2022 T20 World Cup Finals. The match between Pakistan and England will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground this Sunday, November 13.
Both teams had finished 2nd in the standings of their respective groups but showed a lot of character in defeating New Zealand and India respectively in the semi-finals. The last time the two clashed in a World Cup final was in 1992 which Pakistan won.
Pakistani bowlers, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf will need to stop England’s opening duo of Alex Hales and Jos Buttler from getting into their stride. The duo combined for 170 runs in the semi-final and completely destroyed the Indian bowlers.
One’s thing for sure, West Indies will no longer be the only team with 2 T20 World Cup titles as England or Pakistan will also have 2 titles this Sunday.
