Messi’s milestone goal came in the 29th minute of the match, and it was a thing of beauty. Kylian Mbappé sent in a cross to Messi, who calmly tapped the ball into the net from just a few yards out. The other player to do so is his longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi has spent the majority of his career with FC Barcelona, scoring an incredible 672 goals during his time with the squad.
