Messi’s milestone goal came in the 29th minute of the match, and it was a thing of beauty. Kylian Mbappé sent in a cross to Messi, who calmly tapped the ball into the net from just a few yards out. This achievement is even more impressive when you consider that Messi is just the second player in history to score 700 career club goals. The other player to do so is his longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi has spent the majority of his career with FC Barcelona, scoring an incredible 672 goals during his time with the squad. Since joining PSG, he has scored 28 goals in 62 caps.

But Messi wasn’t the only PSG player reaching milestones in Sunday’s match. Mbappé scored two goals, bringing his total with the club to 200. He tied Edinson Cavani for the most goals in club history, doing it in fewer games than Cavani did. Messi also assisted Mbappé on both of his goals, proving that the two are a force to be reckoned with on the field.

Sunday’s win was also a crucial one for PSG, as they entered the match just five points ahead of Marseille for first place in Ligue 1. The win gives them a comfortable lead with 60 points through 25 matches this season, while Marseille remains in second with 52 points.

What an incredible achievement for Messi, Mbappé, and the entire PSG team! This win will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the greatest moments in football, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll achieve next. Congratulations to all!
