Shakib & Liton Not Allowed To Miss Ireland Test

Bangladesh cricket fans may be disappointed to learn that their star players, Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das, may not be allowed to skip the upcoming Ireland Test in April. The two cricketers had applied for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in order to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is set to begin on March 31.

However, BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon has made it clear that he does not plan to grant the NOC, saying that he had already informed IPL officials about the players’ availability before they were even called in for the auction. The BCB boss reiterated that he sees “no option” for the players to skip the Ireland Test.

The news comes after Bangladesh’s victory against Ireland in a three-match ODI series, where they won 2-0, giving them a boost of confidence ahead of the upcoming Test. Fans are eagerly anticipating the match, but it seems that they will have to do without Shakib and Liton, who are both highly regarded players in the cricketing world.

Despite the disappointment, cricket enthusiasts are still looking forward to seeing their team in action. The Bangladesh cricket team has been making great strides in recent years and has become a force to be reckoned with. Their performance in the ODI series against Ireland was a testament to their skill and determination.

It remains to be seen whether the BCB will change its stance on the matter, but for now, it looks like Shakib and Liton will have to choose between playing in the IPL or representing their country in the Ireland Test. Fans will be keeping a close eye on the situation and hoping for a positive outcome.
