With such a remarkable track record, Hemming brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role with the BCB. His experience in developing and maintaining cricket pitches and grounds, coupled with his skills as an educator, will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and improvement of cricket facilities in Bangladesh. The appointment of Hemming underscores the BCB’s commitment to elevating the standards of cricket infrastructure in the country and ensuring that curators receive the necessary training and guidance to excel in their roles.
The role of a curator in cricket is crucial, as they are responsible for preparing and maintaining the playing surface, ensuring that it offers a fair and competitive environment for matches. A well-maintained pitch can significantly impact the outcome of a game, and the BCB’s focus on curator education and infrastructure development demonstrates their dedication to promoting the sport and nurturing talent in Bangladesh.
